WHAT THE FARPARKER IS FARPARKER?To begin, THANKS for visiting us at Farparker! As you'll see, we're here to provide a fun, informative and entertaining community for players and fans of recreational hockey sports. From ringette to roller hockey, street hockey to ice hockey, Farparker is the place to share your thoughts on hockey news, find equipment, win stuff, banter with your teammates, upload photos & videos, find sports retailers, arenas & facilities, goalies & players and read fantastic magazine articles from our panel of expert, professional, LOCAL contributors. Best of all, we aim to be a little bit edgy, so feel free to cut loose in our social media arena (respect your elders though!), add your own topic ideas and post your captions in our monthly contests. But what, you ask, is a Farparker? Some of you may already know...others may have their own definition(s). For our purposes, it's simply a nickname. Farparker was given his name based on the prized parking selections made at local arenas...selections that allowed for anonymity...maybe some privacy...maybe some safety from careless door -dingers. Any maybe...well, quite possibly...some sense of distance or protection from the watching eyes of those who would frown upon his selection of beverage before each game.
